On August 21st 1906 Ethel married Thomas Richard William Sides

Ethel & Thomas had 12 children before Ethel died in 1923, probably in childbirth.

She was buried in the churchyard at Berrington Church, where over the years, due to neglect of the churchyard her headstone was lost and all trace of her last resting place disappeared until in the summer of 2002 two of her grandchildren Peter & Philip Williams, after much research were able to locate her grave. A new headstone was erected and a service and blessing were given in Berrington Church in 2003, attended by many remaining members of her family, including her daughters Margurita Jeanetta (Jan) & Sylvia.
