We are Dave (born 1956) and Sheila (born 1954), and we live in Shrewsbury,
the county town of Shropshire, England.

We enjoy listening to music, we both particularly like 'Fairport Convention','Blackmore's Night','Enigma'
and 'The Alan Parsons Project'.

Sheila likes Lighthouse family, Bread, The Corrs, etc.

Dave likes Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator/ Peter Hammill, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis etc.

Sheila has two sons, Peter and Adam from a previous marriage.

Peter is divorced with two young children, now remarried he lives with his wife, Suzie, in Shrewsbury.

Adam is single and currently lives with us.

Sheila works in the bakery at Asda and has always lived in Shrewsbury.

Dave is ex-RAF and originally from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, and likes playing, listening to and recording music, plays "rock flute" like Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and Ukulele and used to run a Recording Studio in Shrewsbury.

Other interests include Terry Pratchett's Discworld, Robert Rankin's amazing Brentford Saga, Brian Lumley's Necroscope series of books, anything by Bernard Cornwell and anything to do with ancient history, particularly that of Egypt, Greece & Rome, Inca, Maya & Aztec and also of early British history particularly the Viking period.

We met when we were both in a band together, where Dave was lead singer and played flute and Sheila was one of the backing singers.

We married in June 1999.

We are both very interested in Genealogy, (the study of Family History), and this website is mainly devoted to the genealogy of our respective families.
