THOMAS SIMPSON (1900 – 1986) |

He was the last to live at home, eventually remaining in the family council house at Lebberston after his mother died. Tom worked in farm service at first and then worked as a roadman for the Rural District Council; finally he ended up working at the NALGO Holiday Camp at Osgodby. Around 1932 Tom married EDNA MASON who was born on the 1st May 1902 at Scarborough, Tom gained a stepdaughter JEAN from this marriage. Tom & Edna lived in the council house until Tom was on his own and he eventually moved into a sheltered bungalow at Beck Hole, Cayton. Just before his death he moved to Silver Birches Home at Filey. Edna was 65 when she died on the 20th October 1967. Tom died on the 4th December 1986 aged 86. They are both buried at St Oswald’s churchyard at Filey. |

DEMIS TYRONE MAINPRIZE born on the 12th February 1977 at Bridlington. On 18th August 2001 he married Karen Estelle (Howarth), born 11th January 1973 at Dewsbury. (Karen already had a son, Stuart Mark (Steele), b.8.10.1991, who changed his name by deed poll to Mainprize). They have a daughter Courtney Marie Frances Mainprize, who was born at Scarborough 31.12.1997. |

On 21st February 1991, at Scarborough Register Office, Elizabeth married ALAN ATKIN (born 21st May 1947 at Castleford). They were subsequently divorced. Elizabeth now lives in Filey. |
