All ten children were named in Thomas’s will of 1718. Mary, John, Elizabeth, Ursula, Richard, William & Ann were left one shilling each, having been already provided for. Margaret, Grace, Jane and Thomas's wife Elizabeth were left property. The family farm was left to John who was named as eldest son (he signed his name as Sunley), thus he became a 'Yeoman of West Ness' |

John SONLEY died 28 Sep 1747 at West Ness and his name was recorded as Sunley. In his own will of 1747 (Yeoman of West Ness) he signed his name Sonley. Only his wife and son Thomas were mentioned in the will, which probably means that he only had the one child. |
