	FREDERICK SMITH 1866 - 1949

	Frederick was born around 1866 in Hunmanby , the seventh child of William and Mary Smith (nee Seller).

Fred was a blacksmith.

On the 13th October 1892, at Hull, Fred married Mary Ann Jones (born 1871). They had the following children all born in Hull:-

Beatrice Smith	born 1894.

Elsie May Smith	born 13th May 1896, died 18th December 1964.

Harold Smith	born 1898.

Frederick Smith	born 1899.

George Smith	born 1901.

Lydia Smith	born 1902.

Gladys Smith	born 1904. Her married name was Shepperdson.

Charles Smith	born 1906.

Elsie May Smith married Michael Alexander Dimopoulos (born December 25th 1894, died July 12th 1973). They had the following children:-

Alexander Dimopoulos	born 1918. Died 1920 of meningitis

George Henry Dimopoulos	born 22nd February 1920. Died 11th March 1943 when his ship was torpedoed by a U-boat in WW2.

Irene Elsie Dimopoulos	born 27th May 1922. She married Christopher Sanders Comerford.

Gladys May Dimopoulos	born 14th March 1924. Died 30th March 1991.

Michael Dimopoulos	born 22nd December 1926. Died 22nd March 1953 (Drowned at Sea on S.S. Leicester City)

Joyce Dimopoulos	born 1928. She married Frederick Ives.

Violet Dimopoulos	born 1930. She married Dennis Buckerfield.

Yvonne Dimopoulos	born 1931. She married Delbert Neal Linden.

Lydia Dimopoulos	born 1933. Died 1933.

Helen Dimopoulos	born 1936. She married Peter Kealty.

Gladys May Dimopoulos married Frederick John Shailes (born 17th July 1926). They divorced around 1970. They had the following children:-

Yvette June Shailes	She married Mervyn John Llewellyn.
