Sarah Jane was born in Whitby in the last quarter of 1874,
the first child of John and Sarah Bowron
George and Sarah Jane
Agnes Hilda Sarah Jane Nellie

In the 1891 census she was a kitchen maid and lived on Esplanade Road, Scarborough.
There is a story of her being 'in service' down Valley Road somewhere and looking after the Queen of Sweden.

Sarah married George Henry Allerston Hall
They lived at 8 Caledonia Street, Scarborough, and had three daughters:-

Nellie Hall
born 1903.
Hilda Hall
born 1909.
Sarah Jane died in October 1954.
