EMMA SUNLEY was born at Lebberston on the 9th May 1878,
the sixth child of Paul and Eliza Sunley. It is thought that as a young woman she worked at the Grand Hotel in Scarborough. On the 8th December 1900 at the Primitive Methodist Chapel, St. John’s Road, Scarborough, she married John Alfred McLaren Reveley (born at Staxton on the 3rd October 1876, the son of Henry Reveley). Known as Jack, he was a farm labourer, but subsequently became a railwayman and they lived at Temple Hurst Station near Selby and in various railway cottages in the Selby area. |

Emma died on the 19th December 1935 at the relatively young age of 57 yrs and is buried at Chapel Heddersley near Selby. |

Jack died on the 29th January 1952 aged 75 yrs and is buried at South Milford.

They have a son Scott Alan, and a daughter Julie and live in York. |
