 Harry was born on the 18th July 1922 at Lebberston,
the second child of William and Dorothy Cowton.

Harry was killed in action On the 16th June 1944 at Normandy, just after the D-Day landings & just one month before his 22nd birthday.

He is buried in the beautiful military cemetery at Hermanville close to Sword Beach and not far from Pegasus Bridge.
