HANNAH SUNLEY (1834 – 1904)

	Hannah Sunley, the first child of John Sonley was born in Old Malton on September 28th 1834, (It is not known if John was married or if he was what his wife's name was).

Hannah had a son (father unknown):-

JACOB SUNLEY	born in 1856 at West Ness. On the 23rd March 1895, at York Registry Office, he was married to Mary Joyce Walker, (born May 26, 1871, died January 23, 1963), the daughter of William & Joice Walker. Jacob & Mary had the following children:-

Hilda Mary

born 1896.

Elsie May

born May 1900.

Mable Joyce

born 1908, died 1988.

Alice Irene

born May 14th 1913, died Oct 23rd 1980. She married Charles Sidney Matthew Scott (born May 6th 1913, died Feb 15th 1970) and they had the following child:-
Maureen Mary Scott, born April 14th 1944. (She is married to Ian Smith & they have two children.)

On the 13th September 1859, at Kirby Grindalythe, Hannah married Richard Clark (born about July 1837 in Howsham, the son of John & Mary Clark). They appear on the 1881 census, living in Westow Village. They had a daughter:-

Mary Ann Clark	born about May 1842, baptised 3rd May 1842

Richard Clark died around July 1890 at Westow.
Hannah died in July 1904 and was buried in Westow on the 25th July 1904.
