| I joined the RAF on the 17th November 1976, and was at Swinderby for six weeks square bashing before going to RAF Halton for trade training. This meant that I was at Swinderby over the Christmas period and as we had a week off it was sometime in January 1977 before we left, in fact we were at Swinderby for New Year's Eve 1976. |
